I'm trying to upgrade my HDD to 1TB with Western Digital 1TB WD10TPVT. On first boot it worked with no issues but after that I haven't got it to work anymore. I keep getting:
"Cannot start. The correct hard disk was not found."
Windows recognize it with no issues.
I try to boot to recovery, but no luck. I get same error.
    I'm on 3.55fw

can someone help me with this issue?

apparently the 1tb drives are thicker than normal so im guessing u have donw the modifications to fit it in the ps3
other then that use maybe the recovery option on the ps3
format the hdd to fat32 on windows and try again make sure you have a copy of the firmware on usb to reinstall it
unplug the hdd and plug it back in has worked for many the old modem trick
