The noise of my ps3 slim's fan is very loud and annoying. It is not because the console is dusty. It has always been loud from day 1.
Is there a way to solve this? (I thought about to replace the fan with a fan from a newer ps3 slim model which may be quiter.)

While that looks like a good mod to try, he doesn't give a true representation in the video. Almost kind of a "false advertising" type of thing going on.
He has "sound normalisation" on in the early part and states that the sound is louder in the video than it actually is. Later in the video (after his mod) he has "sound normalisation" off to make it sound "real".

Again, this probably is a good mod that will quieten down the console. I just wish the guy would do another video without adjusting the sound levels to give a true representation of what to expect.
I would much rather go to my grave not needing my gun, than go there wishing I had it.

What is your consoles model number? Sony did not put enough heatsink compound on a lot of early slim models.

Once you get the fan running quiet then get a fan mod to increase the rpm. You want a little noise because airflow makes noise. I don't know why people are more interested in having a silent PS3 than a having a PS3 that's GPU isn't slowly baking itself to death.
Fan mod all your consoles! PS3 Fan Booster!

It's an early model CECH-20xxA (I don't know exacly right know). So if I renew the heatsink compound the console will be quieter?

I renewed the heatsink compount now. I put Arctic Silver 5 on the RSX Chip and Arctic Alumina on the CPU (I only had leftovers). The temperature seems to be a few degrees lower. I checked it with Multiman: after watching a movie the RSX Chip goes up to 62°C instead of 66°C and the CPU goes up to 65°C instead of 66° C. Not much and not really quiet. But I think the fan rotates one step slower when i watch a movie.
