Ps3 slim beeps and turns off after i insert game

so i try to put in different games and the screen will go black from the xmb and then the ps3 will beep and the light goes red and blinks. it is fine on the xmb and plays the logo screen of demos fine then before it goes to the menu screen it turns off and beeps yellow and the red light blinks. i also did a ylod fix in case as well but no luck.

removed the old thermal paste
i heated the board up
hovered over gpu and cpu with heatgun for 30 sec each

but that didnt worked.

it doest have the ylod

Same thing happened to me when trying to install Linux , three fast beeps , the console turns off and red light blinks . I hope it's not a hardware issue

exactly what happens. its right when a game starts.

I suggest you do the Restore PS3 System from the System Settings tab .That will format the HDD and restore settings to default . If you have saves and such back them up before . I believe this is a software issue , only happened to me when trying to install Debian Linux .

tried it and still no fix.
