okay so i opened it and cleaned the power supply but my question is this,
Do i have to take everything out of it to clean the fan underneath?![]()

yep. that would be the most logical course of action. I wouldn't trust using compressed air to clean it.
I'd say compressed air is a big no-no. It can blow the dust around inside the system. I'd say just get a dry, lint-free cloth and wipe out the fan and everything else if needed.
well that sucks a big one...looks like i get to take my ps3 apart and try not to break anything >.<!
so far i have opened 3 PS3 lol .i was known as a console killer and still .lol so if i can open it without to break anything then 100% you can do it ..lol
