Hi, hope some one can help out here, bought a faulty ps3 from ebay after succesfully reflowing a previous one i bought.

this is a cechg03 model.

when i plug it in i get no power (red) light, when i press the on button, it boots to for maybe a second or two, fan kicks is briefly, but not long enough to reach any speed, system shuts down. still no red or yellow light at all.

The fan test works fine.

the model has no blu ray installed but has the logic board connected and have read that system should still boot.

any help much appreciated thanks,

p.s , tried all the video reset, hold power for so many seconds etc, nothing seems to work other than fan test.
