Ps3 keeps signing out of psn

I just started playing the original borderlands and now all of the sudden my ps3 keeps signing out and giving me an error message. This has never happened before but now it happens constantly when playing a game. I thought it might have been my wifi connection but now I just went out and bought a 12 foot network cable and I'm having the same problem. Could it just be playstation network today? My computer's internet and my xbox 360 are working just fine.

Actually it seems to be working fine with the network cable. I don't understand why with wifi it won't connect to the playstation network. All my other devices are fine with the wifi.

Well now it is telling me it is a DNS error. I found on other sites that putting in the DNS codes 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220 help. My ps3 only allows 4 digit DNS codes. Any ideas on what I should do?

Edit: Used Google's DNS codes and it still does not work.
