Does someone know what the internal HDD's filesystem is? Is it possible to format an external HDD to this filesystem? Maybe it is posible to put games with large files on it![]()

It is PSFS [PlayStationFileSystem]...
You can put that hdd to enclosure and read (just read) with another ps3 system with Multiman...
Why don't you try the FTP way?
You can transfer any size of files with FTP...
Also, you can do this with wireless, but wired is almost 10x faster than that...
Think about it!
And next time have some research before opening a new post...
Thanks, but I don't want to transfer files. I want to keep Games on an external drive. So it is possible to play games which are on an external PSFS formated drive? Are there any drivers (Linux or Wndows) to format an write files on such a drive?
By the way: I had some research before openining this post but I didn't find anything.
