PS3 HD Plus PHE-01?

I was looking for a larger HD solution for the PS3 and I came across this which looks awesome, but as the article states, there is no manufacturer or details as to who created it. This would be a nice clean solution for many of us looking for larger internal HD's to store our backups on.

Nice find Snoop. Yeah I have 2 Fat ps3's on 3.41 This works better than the one by xecuter as you can keep this upright and still attach a large external HD. The xecuter one would have to be laying down as the plug is right at the HDD door.

You can use any 2.5 or 3.5 drive in it, woo hoo, I am going to get this and a 2TB drive.

I ordered the same one off that eBay seller. He ships out extremely fast. The largest hard drive you can use is a 3.5 1TB. I tested a 1.5TB and it did not work. A 2.5 is too small for the enclosure. It works fine, but the blue LED light has stopped working.

Hmm I wonder if it's a power limitation? If a 1Tb runs a 1.5 or 2TB should unless perhaps the PS3 won't recognize over 1TB?
