I am new to the scene and was interested in the ps3 hacking history. So i made a thread alsking for the PS3 hacking history, since you guys linked me up i edited the first post so its easyer to find. For those who are also interested i posted the links here...

i didnt expect wikipedia would have info about jailbreaking and custom firmware :o

So actualy failOverflow where the first ones to hack the security, without use of a dongle?

Wouldn't know, i only 'joined' the ps3 scene recently, before that it was the xbox scene.

Thanks, it isn't finished though, it will continue, even after the PS4 is released

garyopa thanks for posting it here, i wasn't sure many people would be interested in it, i just never seen a proper history, apart from the official stuff on Wikipedia, so though why not and went ahead and created it

You can copy and put it in a thread here is you wish
