where does the ps3 game updater, get the game updates from? sony servers?
Is it possible to install game updates on my 3.56 ofw console using ps3 Game updater 1.4 and a usb stick via xmb
as its much quicker than psn

As far as I know, you must use the PS3 itself to install on OFW….there is no "Install Package Files" option on OFW…and thats the option you'd use to install game updates on a Jailbroken or CFW system….but PSN is VERY slow….it took me like 8 hours to download the Pain updates (2.1GB i think) and I could have done that on my computer in less than 2 hours or so
