PS3 Ftp games app? –
03-19-2012,03:10 AM
PS3 Ftp games app. I recall this site providing an app to transfers games to ps3 without the need boot the games from internal or external hard drive. The reason is my 60 gb ps3 doesn't have much room left. I couldn't believe how big some save files especially mgs4. At the mommenyt im low on cash. I do have enough space to hold large data ps3 games from my computer. I don't want to transfer the games to ps3 internal or external.

Yes, like a wifi server. The ps3 would access the data, but without physically storing the game within ps3. So when I'm done playing with the game after a long day, the connection is gone and still within my computer. I remember someone had some type of ftp app that showed icon screen games from the computer, and file would boot to the ps3. Almost like a media server, but I think it was done with some type of ftp. Yes I have used ftp in the past to store the ps3 games from computer to ps3 storage, but that takes too much space.

short answer no.
its possible to send it to the PS3 by installing a FTP server app on the device like "Blackbox".
playing games from a network is not possible at this time.
