PS3 disc drive Washer

i've been having issues with my PS3 disc drive for months and decided today to try and fix it. I open my PS3 and find a washer stuck to the lens. I'm curious if said washer goes somewhere or did my cute little girls put that washer thru the slot :|. here's a picture guys:

If the washer supposed to go somewhere in the PS3 , can you tell me where? :)

Think that was an early christmas girft from your lil girls m8 . is the drive working now with the washer removed?

lol, that washer does not go anywhere in the disc drive or the ps3, like overload said.... its just an early xmas gift ^^
