Hi first off all i didnt know where to post this, so i apologize if its in de wrong section.

About a year ago i suddenly wanted to play crash bandicoot 1,2,3 again. But i didnt have a PS1 anymore, only the games. So i downloaded ePSXe and searched the internet for ways to connect my ps3 Controller to my computer (windows xp) And i found quit a few ways. At first i tried it wired then wireless.

I found a few on this site:
Using PS3 Controller in Windows (Wired)
And i really liked Method D (ds3drv_1.03). Because its easy to install

Afterwards i wanted to test it with my bluetooth stick. And i folowed these instructions.
Use PS3 Controller in Windows Wireless Bluetooth or Wired

So with both these ways i could connect my controller both wired as wireless. And the older version of bitsix supported 2 Controllers at once. And the LED's where working like on the PS3. BUT the button mappings where completely different in bitsix, i had to install way to many drivers. And Windows couldn't recouldnise my MP3 player anymore. So i deleted all the drivers...

Now im feeling nostalgic so i searched for newer solutions. The only thing i found was MotionJoy. Which i installed and tested. This program seems nice but it crashes allmost everytime i launch it. + Im not allways connected to the internet, and it seems to need a internet connection since the local tab isnt working at all.

So my question is: Are there easyer solutions?

Thanks in advance! (Sorry for the bad english im Dutch)

I downloaded the Offline version, and after installing it it works stand alone so it can put it on a USB and just copy it to every pc.

    Thanks guys!

Motioninjoy ds3 tool is the way to go, gotta love the x360 emulator so most games are preconfigured already. The only downside is you need a dedicated bt dongle just for ps3 controllers.

Make sure you use Internet Explorer to connect and not firefox. That's a good tip I found out, because I wasn't able to connect until I did that. If it still doesn't work, reset Internet Explorer to default settings and your done and ready to go

    Enjoy!!

You can utilize it in a few simple steps.

    1. Navigate your browser to the link listed in the "Resources" section.

    2. Click the "Download" button and save the file to your Desktop.

    3. Double-click the file to extract the files contained to the folder of your choosing. For ease of access, extract the files to your Desktop.

    4. Double-click the "libusb-win32-filter-bin-0.1.10.1.exe" file to install the drivers onto your PC. Doing so will also create a file called "ps3sixaxis_en.exe" at a location of your choosing.

    5. Plug your PS3 controller into your computer using the proprietary charging cable that came packaged with the controller.

    6. Double-click on the "ps3sixaxis_en.exe" file to activate the drivers. You will need to activate the drivers every time you plug in your PS3 controller.

    7. Boot up the computer game of your choice and access the "Controls" tab under "Options." Configure the controls as desired.
