PS3 Blu-Ray drive problem, 40GB
PS3 Blu-Ray drive problem, 40GB –

I have a PS3, pal, 40GB here that stopped playing games.
I was not sure if it even was the laser (KES-410ACA) as when i inserted any discs they did not seem to load at all, no loading button or DRE, but i decided to change the laser anyway.
This is my 1st time working on a PS3 but ive been in the scene constantly since the PS1 days, so i know what im doing.
So i changed the laser with no problems and put the drive back together, put it in the PS3 and turned it on, loaded up no problem, tried to put in a disc and it would not take it in, what a boot in the balls!
I opened it and put it back together quite a few times now with no success, ive tried holding the eject button for around 30 seconds with no success, and ive tried putting the game in half way then turning it on to see if it would take it in, no success at all.
Heard something about the rollers but i aint got a damn clue where or when i read that to check it out, so here i am at good old PS2NEWZ (thats the old skool better name
) asking all the genius's to help me out!
1 of you's have got to know what to do!

I guess this is kinda old now but...
It wasn't the laser itself, another part(that has something to do with the laser) burnt out. I have no clue where I got that from, but I remember because when my 40GB stopped reading discs, I was searching high and low for answers.
