PS3 60GB SHUTDOWN BLINKING RED LIGHT NO YLOD
I have a PS3 60GB CECHC04.
I reflowed it about a year ago and then it died after a week again with YLOD.
Then I bought a slim that I use for Online gaming.
Then I refluxed and reflowed and bended the clamps some time ago on the 60GB (Also added good silver cooling paste). It lasted for 5 months.
A few weeks ago it YLOD again. So refluxed/reflowed/clamps/cooling paste.
But now instead of giving me YLOD it can shut down at a random time when gaming and gives a blinking red light.
You turn it off on the back and turn it on and it works again.
Could it be that I haven't added enough cooling paste and is it overheating?
Or is the thermal sensor fried? Can anybody tell me where it is located?
Does anybody know what's wrong and how to fix it.
Maybe I should do this? PS3 YLOD 40GB CPU Cooler Master mod - YouTube
2 days I had it on Linger In Shadows. Then yesterday I could watch the whole movie planet of the apes no problems and play DiRT. Today I played DiRT for 5 minutes and it did it.
