PS3 3.55 Kmeaw. Can I play PS3 game on PSP via Remote Play ?
PS3 3.55 Kmeaw. Can I play PS3 game on PSP via Remote Play ? –

Hello,
I have my PS3 at home (already on Kmeaw 3.55 + lastest MM 2.x) and want to test playing PS3 backup games on PSP at any wifi access point using Remote Play feature. But I've heard that Remote Play via Internet requires us to login into PSN network which is impossible now for 3.55 CFW. So basically, no more Remote Play ?
I want to check so that I can decide to buy PSP or not
Thanks for helping me.

Can't without psn. Plus only 1 ps3 game is playable via remote play...maybe 2 cause I think flow can. Other one is lair or somewhat around that

You can use remote play over a local wireless network. All games can run just fine with Remote Play, ALL, not one or two. Any game that you name, can work just fine with Remote Play.

@Dark Scyth
By saying local wireless network you mean that if, let say, I am at home with my PS3 and PSP both connect to my local wireless network then everything should be fine, right ? But if I go to some places like library, coffee shop with wireless access point then I cannot because PSN is not possible at this time. Correct me if I am wrong.
By the way, do I need to edit anything like PARAM SFO or will Multiman will do its job for Remote Play ?
Thanks alot for helping me.

I think Multiman modifies the PARAM.SFO for using remote play (May be wrong on that but i'm pretty sure). Yes, you'd only be able to use it on your own network and not on the go as PSN is required for an off the premises start. Whether or not CFW users will ever see PSN again that is unsure. I'd also imagine it'd be possible to make a program to allow Remote Play on the go without the need for PSN but this is definitely out of my expertise, so i'm just throwing some ideas out there, incase anyone gets ambitious. :P
