    Hi guys,

    I have the mentioned TV.
(Yes, I know it's not the best.)
In case you don't know the TV:
    It's a 47 inch Full-HD TV that supports passive 3D.
(In case that 3D is activated I won't have Full-HD, I'm aware of that.)

I tested some 3D games and the results were pretty different.
    Examples:
Tekken Tag Tournament 2 - I can see performance problems - especially on the flower stage (NL)
PES 2013: Well at all it runs ok, but not comparable to 2D (2D is much smoother)
Mortal Kombat (the one with the Unreal engine): Was good!
    Gran Turismo 5: Was good!

In all scenarios I activated the TVs "gaming mode" in order to prevent input lags.

Is it possible that my HDMI cable is too "weak"?
I can change the resolution to 1080p, though.
So I'm not sure if it's actually an HDMI 1.3 cable.
(I've had it for about 3 years.)
So maybe if the PS3 needs to send more signals (due to the game scene), the cable cannot transfer that rate and performance problems appear.
I don't know what the problem is, it's just a guess...

    Thanks.

I don't think your HDMI cable is the problem. Games in 3D mode are just not going to perform as well as the same game in 2D mode.

It's definitely not the cable, I bought a cheap $5 one on clearance, I think it was GE and I have no problems with any 3d game I throw at it, with the exception of Silent Hill, and most Xbox games. It might be your ps3, or the hd you're storing the backups on. Or it's just the way the games work. I've tested over 2 dozen 3d games but not Tekken or Pes. In case you're wondering my tvs not amazing either, Mitsubishi DLP 65".
