Problem with the smaller PSN Games when installing PKG

Hi there,

I'm on Rogero CFW 4.30 and can do pretty much everything no worries.

However, I've found some of the PSN games in PKG format and tried to put them on.

Both PKG's installs fine (game) and (crack), but then the game doesn't work.
If I just put the 1st PKG (the game) then I get the trial version and it works fine.

I'm kinda baffled?!
Any help appreciated.

After installing the crack, copy the eboot to your usb in Multiman then use an eboot resigner like Darkeboot Resigner on it and put the new one where the old one is. The game works properly without the crack because it's signed properly by sony and the crack isn't.

I would have thought that the crack pkg would be signed already?
Since the instructions say

1) install the PKG Install
2) then install the PKG Crack

This just doesn't work

Are the games you have supposed to be for 4.21+ or for 3.55 or doesn't it say?

It doesn't say, but the ones I have tried are the Duplex releases for the PSN games. From what I can tell these we're commonly used with the TB dongle I think!

Ok, yeah it sounds like they're signed for 3.55 so the eboot needs to be resigned.

well i,m having probs with all psn games cant get any of them to work i,m on rogero 4,30,4 copy edate to home 000004 then edate folder IE games that spouse to be 4,21+ load game still in demo mode , driving me nuts

gary2112 do try this.. get the eboots(copy to pc with ftp) of all not working psn games and resign them with darkeboot resigner or pkg toolkit gui and replace it back in ps3...it worked for me and others..
