Is it possible to format external drive to UFS2?
Is it possible to format external drive to UFS2? –
I have a few questions, if i you connect a 3.5 HDD to the playstation internal (with a different power source) And format it.
Then it would be formated like a PS3 internal HDD (witch i think is UFS2)
If you then unplug it and put it back in external case and connect it with usb would it work?
And is there anyone working on a way to connect NTFS drives to your PS3?
nope tried that with no sucess, the only external format that PS3 will see is fat32
CECHA01 (500GB Cobra 7/ REBUG REX 4.46 XMBM+, multiMAN/webMAN XMB, Showtime,)
Ok thanks i couldnt find anything about it... I dont understand why sony doesnt do a update so PS3 can recognise NTFS.

DONT HOLD YOUR BREATH!!! SONY will never enable NTFS support., i dont even think they can since its a M$ product.
UFS2 or 3 would be the way to go
Yea but isnt FAT32 also a Microsoft product?
There probable will never come a way to put +4GB files on a external HDD for ps3 use then?
