Possible for backup forwarder icons?

I was wonder if it was possible for somebody to create an app or something where we can add an icon for game backups we have installed to Internal HDD or External that when you click it it mounts the game then you just click the disc icon. Instead of going into say multiMAN then go to your game clicking load then going back to the XMB. Instead this would basically do all of that for you once you click the game icon in the XMB. Not sure if this is possible but should be since the wii could do it.

They are called PKG files, and you can do this with MM package, it includes an ebootfix.exe file where you drag and drop the PS3_GAME folder to it and it will create a pkg file for you to install in the xmb so you dont have to enter MM when loading games.
It basically creates a shortcut to the xmb.

You also need to do a shadow copy of said directory in MM file mamager section by pressing R3 i believe

Files are in the MM thread and theres also instructions are in the thread i believe also, jsut drag said folder for said game, and it will make an instructions text file aswell

Nevermind I get it. I though you meant in the MM on the ps3 you create the pkg file. I'm retarded. My mistake. Thanks. What about for Gaia or Rogero. Do they have a similar option?

that i dont think they do, but i could be wrong, i have them installed in my ps3, but i havent used them in a long while since MM is the best for me.

MM works great on everything except for MLB 10 The Show. Gaia is the only one that works great on that. IDK why

I'm having nothing but problems with it. I followed the instructions and for Red Dead Redemption I get this error after clicking the icon "There is not enough free space on the hard disc. The game was forced to quit. At least 516 MB more free space is needed". I have 11gb of free space. Then i also get an error trying to launch NHL 11 from the icon "The game data is corrupt. Plese delete the game data before starting the game." I looked in the game data utility and I don't even see game data for NHL 11. What the heck is going on?
