Please help. Patches of wavy lines whenever playing video files
Please help. Patches of wavy lines whenever playing video files –

Hello all,
I get patches of wavy lines whenever I try to play downloaded video files on my ps3 (320gb slim) transferred from my pc to the ps3 HD via a jump drive. I am still able to watch the video, but just have these green patches. I have a vizio 720p I tried adjusting the resolution on the ps3, but it changes to horizontal green lines instead of patches.
I tried converting the file to a ps3 supported file type using a converter, but I still get the patches. DVD video play is fine. Any other suggestions? Any help would be apppreciated. Thanks in advance
