Playing a new game with kmeaw 3.55 CFW

It's been months since I touched my PS3 and now that the new FF13-2 came out I went to the store and got it directly.
The last thing I did to my PS3 was installing the kmeaw 3.55 CFW, and my question is: Is there any way for me to play the game on 3.55 without updating to 3.74?
I would very much like to keep my CFW while beeing able to play this new game I bought.

Right now the answer is no. It's hard to say when that game is going to be patched. It's immensely popular so it could be tomorrow, next week, a month from now, or never. It is very likely that Duplex or True Blue will patch it. (True Blue is back after the holidays but you'll need a dongle for them and Duplex released the game so a patch shouldn't be too far off) Sorry to say you've got a decision to make. Do you want to update to official firmware to play the game or do you want to wait a little while to see if it's patched. You could either be waiting a very long time, or you can update your console then find out it's been patched a week from now and kick yourself in the ass because you lost your homebrew/backups and can't downgrade. What's really important to you?
