I'm starting to get pissed off here and need a little advice.
Drive: 500GB External
OS: Windows XP
I've used Partition Magic to create a 191GB partition on my external 500GB drive ages ago, basically that's the maximum size the slider would go to when creating a FAT32 partition.
Basically I've downloaded the free EASUS partition software which lets me resize the partition to whatever I want, only when it goes to apply the changes it hangs at 35% for about 30mins then crashes out.
Partition Magic flat out won't let me expand the partition at all.
I've tried downloading an Ubuntu live CD (Converted it to live USB using unetbootin) and the damn thing won't boot on any of my machines for some unknown reason. I was hoping to use GParted as I've used it before and it's excellent, but it's a no go for now for some reason.
Can someone, for the love of GOD, recommend a partition manager which will resize a FAT32 partition to whatever size?
I thought I'd better expand the partition this morning, it'll only take 5 mins.
It's now about 12 hours later and I'm still no closer, obviously I'll solve this problem eventually but if someone can help me resolve it quicker than I'd be very greatful.
