New and dont know what to do.. –

Okay, so I've had this PS3 from my brother for a few years now..and at first the Hard Drive didn't work (fixed that)..and then the disc wouldn't read..so I put it aside for a few years..Decided to come back (few days ago) and fix the disc reading problem. I bought a new bluray drive..(it instantly read DVDs) but the blurays were no dice..and for some reason i decided to update it thinking that would solve my issues..but it only made it worse..
It seems I have to remarry my bluray drive to my HD..but that requires 3.55 or less..and I'm stuck at the latest..4.21 fw. Then I saw the E3 Flasher and thought it would be a somewhat easy fix..then I figured out I have the model CECHG which is the last NAND model before Sony switched to NOR. SO one let down after another..I'm now looking at Progskeet that does have a NAND setup.
Now I may be wrong in saying E3 Flasher doesn't support NAND..but reading around leads me to the conclusion that it doesn't..I would willingly (I suppose) do the Progskeet method but it doesn't seem to have a lot of videos and proper information on how to get it up..
So here is my question...does E3 Flasher support NAND? Should I do the Progskeet method, or just shove this thing back under my bed until fw 4.21 is jailbroken so I can downgrade it without and problem?

E3 does NOT support nand so you have to go progskeet. even if a 4.21 cfw came theres no saying that a downgrade from that would be possible another option to you is look around see if there is anyone available close to you that does these things may work out cheaper for you.

Alright, I figured I would be left with doing the ProgSkeet setup..but there aren't exactly any tutorials..on YouTube or something related to getting me setup..Ill probably just sit this aside again until I go back to New York, there is bound to be some people there that can do it..=/
Btw what would be a typical price..I see $80-$110 as a typical price for the the whole board and such..
Thanks for the help also
