I buyed my ps3 console of ebay with very little knowledge of what model it was etc etc , i think it is chechg , it didnt come with a bluray drive or even a logic board , i borrowed a bmd-001 logic board of my mate and i have purchased a 400a bluray drive as that is what the seller who sold me my ps3 told me . Is it possible to marry the bmd-001 logic board with the drive attatched to the console using the remarry process even though i believe the original logic board is supposed to be bmd-002 ? Please could you help me and jus comfirm i could do this or would i need to go and buy a bmd-002 logic boar to be able to remarry., that is all thankyou

yes it sould be the corosponding board however if you know how to, just run a lv2diag.self nd jigstik remary them. not for the noob's
