    Hi there,

I'm not quite sure if this is the right place to post this, but I have question:

Does Hot Pursuit support 3D mode? I think it was announced as a feature for the PS3, and now it's playable on jailbroken 3.41 PS3s, but I can't find any 3D options or something else.

    Any ideas?

The 3D feature was only introduced in 3.50 ...So you cannot play in 3D on any firmware lower then 3.50 ...

You mean the 3D Bluray feature. But the 3D for games was introduced before 3.41.

I can play Call of Duty: Black Ops in 3D, and some other games...

Hmm.. what about the HDMI-cable? Maybe I need 1.4?
But why does it work in Black Ops then? Gran Turismo 5 also works.

Criterion had confirmed the 3D feature! Twitter / CriterionGames: 3D support on PlayStation ...

    Maybe the 1.01 patch?

EDIT: When I install patch, the game doesn't start. I replaced the EBOOT in the patch folder with the "edited" one but it doesn't work. Perhaps the eboot in the patch folder needs to be edited..

    Wrong.

3D support for GAMES was in 3.41.

3.50 added support for 3D MOVIES.

phil - yeah, try editing the patch. There is a tutorial around here somewhere - or see if somebody can edit it for you. Make sure, if it works, it gets to the "Eboot repository" for others.
Working hard on UberCFW, incorporating NTFS, sub-free NetFlix and Blockbuster, PSN cheat system with built-in swearbot and MAC-spoofing, Adding MKV, RAM and BIK movie support, and Xbox360 emu*.

*not really. Get a life, newbs...

I will try to edit the EBOOT. I can upload the file if someone else wants to edit it.

EDIT: I downloaded several tools and tried to edit the patch EBOOT.BIN but failed. In cygwin I get this error:

    $ unself EBOOT.BIN EBOOT.ELF
    invalid type: 00000008
    perror: No error

I've attached that EBOOT.BIN for you if you want to try. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong.

probably very wrong here, but I think for patches they need to be debug patches and not retail patches.
