Need to know where to release my PS3 Game Boot

I Just made a PS3 Game Boot Logo (not a coldboot, it is a logo that shows up when booting homebrew or games from xmb) which I think a lot of people will find quite amusing. It has Peter Griffin farting fire and setting a ps3 on fire and in the fire it says "It Only Does Everything." and it's a mirrored image on both sides of the logo.



I used the compiler that came with XMBCustomize pkg to compile it.

I used 3 pics from 3 different sites which I modified each one for my game boot logo (removing backgrounds, resize, rescale, etc.). The sites I obtained the original pics from are:

These Sites are also included in the readme which is in the rar.

To install the game boot logo, just unpack the rar and drag the customize folder to root of dev_usb000 and then run xmbcustomize and hit x on Install it.

Image copyrights are a little bit of a gray area. If you tried to claim them as your own or charge for them you'd probably get in trouble. I would suggest that you give credit to the sources and you should be ok. If you can take a pic or a vid of it I'd say just post it here

I don't know exactly who it was that created the original pics. But, I have included a readme that tells what sites I obtained the original pics from.

As for the compiler tool I don't know who the creator was, I just know I got it with the XMBCustomize Pkg. Could I just list the sites I got the pics from and mention that I used the compiler included with the XMBCustomize pkg to create it?

I do have a sample pic included.

I'm not going to charge anything for it or even claim the pics as my own. I just want to make it available to the public.

Hmmmnnn...I tried everything to the T. Said it installed the mod. Exited the app, nothing. Repeated several times. Im wondering if it has something to do with being on TB firmware. I tried with dongle inserted and not inserted, still nothing.

It acts like its going to load something upon game boot but just stays black screen then proceeds to the game. any ideas?

First off, when you downloaded my [h t t p : / / w w w . 2shared . c o m /file/8uII3eUn/Peter_Griffin_Fire_Fart_on_PS3 . h t m l] (remove spaces) after extracting the rar you would have seen a folder called Peter Griffin Fire Fart on PS3 (It Only Does Everything.)

Then you would have had to drag the customize folder (that is located inside of the Peter Griffin Fire Fart on PS3 (It Only Does Everything.) folder) to your usb that you have hooked up to the usb furthest to the right (dev_usb000).

Then, you would have had to run XMBCustomize app from xmb screen and hit x on the top option "Install It" and then it should work.

Make sure you didn't drag the Peter Griffin Fire Fart on PS3 (It Only Does Everything.) folder to the root of dev_usb000.

Inside of the customize folder is another folder called modz and in that folder is the custom_render_plugin . r c o file (which is the game boot logo).

Make sure that the customize folder is on the ROOT of dev_usb000.

If you have followed all of these steps correctly and it still doesn't work it may be due to using true blue. I use Kmeaw 3.55 cfw and it works on mine. The xmbcustomize app is designed for cfw. I don't know if it supports true blue though. I would suggest that you check with the creator of the xmbcustomize app to see if his app supports use with true blue.
