need help with buying ps3 60gb –
Hi guys its somewhat close to christmas and i decided i wanted to buy myself a ps3 60gb *because of the backwards compatibility and my love for ps2 games* i already own a ps3 but its the 160 gb phat version that came with uncharted... (its my family's) i want my own but want the backwards compatibility should i buy a YLOD console and repair it myself *has experience* or should i just buy a ps2 thats 50 bucks from gamestop. so what do you think i should do?
I've bought 5+ 60gb ps3's and from experience ylod ones on ebay WITH WARRENTY STICKER are the best ones to buy because they are cheap and sony will fix for 150. If you buy a used your ps3 will break sooner than later because they run hot and are old. I personally pay extra to get sony referbished ones on ebay they range from $300 - $400 and are worth it in the sence that you get it "immediatly" instead of waiting for sony to fix and ship a ylod one. Long story short be sure you really want a 60gb and don't cheap out or your gonna waste money. Also I like to take mine apart as soon as I get it I know it voids the warrenty but better thermal paste and a aps231 power supply will make the 60gb last alot longer.
I would also go with the 60gb...
I have 2 of them, both on 3.55
im so tired of formating this thing...
nice lol well i was thinking maybe i could also buy the ps3 in parts and build it up myself?? LOL i wonder if that works?? as in buying the motherboard and everything psu seperate and build it together.... mhhh it will probably end up costing more tho XD
ok people i really need help and am serious about buying a console now from ebay would you rather consider buying this *which is cheaper but has ylod and warranty sticker removed"59 dollars" or this one where the blu ray drive is broken but is upgraded to 250 gb and the console works with warranty sticker but more expensive "100dollars"...
