thanks for the info though might think of a 1tb internal upgrade in the future
Looks pretty easy actually…didn't think it'd be so easy LOL…
I bought a PS3 from a pawn shop about a month ago (thankfully the bastards gave me a warranty)….but when I brought it home, i tried to put a disk in and it wouldn't take the disk! I know I should have tested the drive when I was at the pawn shop, but I did boot it up and check firmware to make sure it was 3.41 or lower and that's all I cared about at the time…but anyway, I took the system apart to see if it was another disc stuck in it, etc…and to my surprise….someone had beat me to the Blu-Ray disassembly! The drive didn't have the metal shielding on it at all and I saw where the prior dumbasses that owned it had RIPPED the drive apart with force….screws missing, etc….it was a NIGHTMARE..I took the drive out and a piece of plastic fell out! I was sooo PISSED! I took that crap back and told the guy it didn't work and he asked if I wanted to try the other one they had in stock…..I said "i'll take a refund…this was a DISASTER!"….i swear, it seems like Pawn Shops would TEST machines when they get them in? When I went to ANOTHER pawn shop (much nicer one actually), I tested the Blu-Ray functionality of it, got a cheaper price, better condition system and brand new controller and bigger hard drive! I wish I had made a video of it…..I'd post it on YouTube!
