- NAND Memory PS3 consoles (Launch Models Only that has PS2 BC support) got 256MB of Memory and all parts of firmware files are stored in there. While 16MB NOR memory had only some part of the firmware stored on NOR, and other firmware files are stored on your PS3's HDD.
- NAND consoles wont ask you to re-install Firmwares even if you changed your HDD with a new one. While NOR, it does.
- NAND consoles will save you from firmwares had HDD upgrade issue.
- NAND consoles took 9-12minutes to install a firmware, while NOR will only took around 2-3minutes.
