My PS3 didn't recognized my USB via Save Data Utility –
I've got a problem: My PS3 didn't recognized my USB via Save Data Utility.
When I go to Save Data Utility and my USB stick is connect to the PS3, it didn't recognized it.. it shows me every game save data, but no the USB stick.
How can I make my PS3 to show my USB stick in that list?
for what reason you want to use usb drive.
Yes, sure it formatted to FAT32, i've use it many times for updates, install packages & stuff.
I need it to be recognized for install patches for the PES 2011, of new teams, squades, and more... and the installation instructions were
to go the Save Data Utility and install files via USB stick, which i can't do cause my PS3 didn't recognized it and didn't show it in the list.
you need to create a Folder like this PS3>SAVEDATA>BLESXXXX or BLUSXXXX and inside that folder its your saves
OK, and should I know whats the BLESXXXX of my PES 2011 game?
The name in the HDD is Pro Evolution Soccer 2011, and not some kind of BLESXXXX.
Man that doesn't work for me either.

I've checked it - and nothing is new for me, I did the same things by myself without this teturial, and it still:
Under Game > Saved Data Utility, 'USB Device' don't appear on the list.
Is it possible that because my PS3 is hacked, then the USB device isn't enabled?
File system on dev_usb should be FAT32 on MBR (other tables are not supported by XMB).
With 3.42, Sony make headshot for many usb devices. Try another, maybe Your it's not compatible.
Even if folder structure is not properly, this pendrivie *must be* seen on the list in Save Data Utility. If not, read above.
