My ps3 was on FW 3.30 and I was trying to downgrade it to try and marry another BD to it. I stupidly put the extra files for the remarry on the flash drive the first time instead of just downgrading alone first. When it finished, the green light started flashing but the ps3 didn't shut down. I waited about 30-45 minutes and it didn't shut down so I turned off the ps3.

I turned it back on without the flash drive in and it booted into factory service mode fine and was still on 3.30. I shut down again and put the FD back in just trying to downgrade. This time it did the same thing, but after I shut down the ps3 and tried turning it back on without the flash drive it shut itself off.

I took it out of service mode, turned it on and got a message that the OS had to be reloaded so I put the flash drive in my ps3 with PS3>UPDATE>3.50 update on it and pressed start + enter but it just kept searching for 30 minutes and would not find and load the OS.

After this I tried going back into service mode but with the 3.50 update on my flash drive this time and again it froze at the end with the blinking green light and I can't do anything. Does this sound like it's bricked?

Turn off the console and go into safe mode, try to make a restore file system.
