Moving to OFW safety

Hi!

I have an old, fat PS3, its a CECHK. I have been using it with a 3.55KMEAW for a long time. I decided to move to OFW, because i was so lucky to get a 360 for free. Well, it was said to be dead, after all, i fixed the drive fw. So, i want to play online again, but i want to make sure its going to be all right.

I will create a new PSN profile, format my HDD, move to 3.55 OFW then update. BUT! I was on PSN with 3.55 when the newest fw was this. I think it was 2011 February. So, i didint get any warning messages and a few weeks back, i went online with the 4.11 spoofer. I wasnt banned, i have played for 2 days i think. I dont know if the sony will ban for this.

Another problem is Reactpsn. I changed the vhs file in the fw. I havent got a backup. I know, this is my fault, but i didint expected such a possibility. I dont know if the 3.55 OFW or the 4.11 update will overwrite it, but if it will, its going to be alright, right?

I think as long as you are on offical firmware, you should be fine. Sony does not seem to ban consoles for minor infractions. But, you never know.

As I've said to others in your situation, why not try to sell your jailbroken PS3? That way you get enough money to buy a brand new PS3 plus profit, and somebody else gets a much sought after jailbroken PS3.

Thats a good idea. I will try to find somebody who would buy it.

But if a cant. Whats with the vsh? I dont want to get any RSOD while im on OFW. :/
