Mortal Kombat

Since Mortal Kombat 9 came out last year, Is there any news about a new release for Mortal Kombat? Cause at the end of the story mode, after beating Shoa Khan, Shinnok, the Elder God came through. If Shoa Khan ain't dead, why would Shinnok be at the end if Neatherrealm Studios isn't gonna make a new one?

Well, MK 2011 sold very well and made lots of money. A follow up is inevitable. There's been no word on it yet, but I'd say it's safe to expect an announcement in 2013 or 2014.
