Minimus AVR Help? –
09-24-2010,12:46 PM
Hi, my Minimus AVR arrived today and I'm trying to get it set up, I've found loads of helpful guides but none on using Flip.. I basically opened Atmel Flip once I had the Minimus Drivers installed using a guide.. Then I click "Select target device and picked "AT90USB162" I then clicked "Select Communication Medium" then I loaded the hex files and pressed "Run" on the bottom left hand side.. All the little circles were green.. But when I put it on my PS3 and press start then eject it just comes onto the little green light and says "Unknown USB inserted" :S Any ideas?

On the flip software after you have pressed run and have the green light you need to press start application in the bottom right, thats why its not working.

I have a minimus and it took much screwing around to get it to work; in the end i flashed with the hex file for a teensy 1.0 and this worked for me. when the hack was successful the green power light came on and the red one to tell me that it was working as a teensy.
hope this helps
