Linux,homebrew,piracy –

for a change thought i would post something for discussion rather than seeing pages of crap,repeat,dumb request for favourite games to work 
just an observation, looking at the forum if as stated when the ps3 was cracked wide open it was done for linux you would have thought there would be a massive amount of posts in that section (unless you guys really are that good )
or is noone being truly honest and it was done for piracy?
homebrew emulators although totally legit require you to obtain roms to work
and dress it up how you will, without permission from the owner, its piracy to duplicate them even if you hold a physical copy of it
geohot - now before i say anything else... top bloke for what your doing
and releasing a CFW that allows only signed homebrew not piracy is spot on.
but, is this your idea or your new boss ???
wouldnt blame you if you are now working for sony, you have demonstrated your skills and can have some "control" over how things pan out at the start.
