Killzone 3 BETA available

The Killzone 3 BETA is now available for download:

Has anyone tried this out yet? just wondering. I'm downloading it now (1.3GB), but haven't had a chance to try it out yet. I know it's online only, but I'm hoping it might let you start an offline game and have a wander around, see what the new additions are ect.

Let us know your thoughts, cheers peeps

can this be played if you have psn access? I really don't care about getting banned or anything, i just want to know if you need to be on a special list or anything

You need to be signed into psn before starting the game from what i know, that goes for all beta games :|

The beta is now open to everyone.

I just want to know if this can actually be played. has anyone confirmed it working ....I know all psn plus members get access to it, but what if you just download this and play it. will it actually work ...i downloaded it but im not gonna waste my time trying it until i know it actually works

Yeah, this is more or less what I expect - "Please sign into the PlayStation Network" then having to quit. I've read it's basically a client program with no server side included.

But curiosity has got the better of me, so I'm gonna give it a go shortly.

I'm getting 80029564 error, can't even install currently!

Need to clear some space on my HDD...

29564 isnt because of space its because the package is corrupt, I got the same thing couldnt install.
