Just wondering about PS2 backups..
Just wondering about PS2 backups.. –
If it's possible to create a Param.sfo, i have tried to launch a backup on my original fat console (longshot i know, but doesn't hurt to try) using the latest Multiman, it transfers ok and displays in Multiman with the correct name as a PS2 game.. but says Param.sfo not found when i try to launch the game.
Is there a way to create the Param.sfo or another workaround that may possibly work?
Here's a way to create an SFO file.
How do you transfer the ps2 game? When I try from the MM file manager, it just goes blank or semi-crashes. Even when trying to copy just one of the IMG files.
Anyways, keep us posted... running all my PS2 games from the HD would be sublime.
Thanks for the link, doesn't allow you to create a Param.sfo though only to amend one (which i tried, but unfortunately didn't work) in order to copy to MM, i mounted the iso/img etc in deamon tools and copied & pasted the contents to a folder named as the game, then just transfer to MM (same folder on the PS3's HDD etc) as you do with other games.
