What if it would be possible to create a application for the PS3 similar to PSN
Thus giving us access to play any game online.. even games without lan

So pretty much I'm saying making a server or something and tricking the PS3 into thinking it's PSN.. not much Sony can do to block it.

Already done, it's called Xlink Kai, or XBSLink. Both have threads on these forums

Yeah.. but I don't mean those
In order to use either the game has to have LAN otherwise it doesn't work

What I'm talking about is making the PS3 think it is connected to the PSN so we can like have our own little server to play on or something like that

Let's be serious.. not all games have LAN which is a bummer to this is kind of a solution

Unfortunately, there would have to be a lot of reverse engineering in order to get working as we know about .00000000000000000000000003% of how PSN works. Not to mention programming a whole server program completely from scratch without knowing the different calls and checks the PS3 does when it connects.

Hmm.. no, I don't even play CoD.
I mostly play sports games online
