Internal vs external hdd

Hey guys sorry if someone else has asked this. But when choosing a ps3 hdd to use for backups what would u guys choose a 640gb internal or a 2tg external. Please put into consideration functionality of games thx

640gb internal
or 750 gb if u can find a decent one

a bunch of games dont work on external
so if i were you, id try and buy a 500gb internal and a 1.5 or 2tb external, have the ones u really love on internal, and the "ehhh, just got these cuz theyre free" games on the external and plus u can take that with u places if ur friends ps3 is JB'd
