Internal HDD is gettin full
Internal HDD is gettin full –
Hi guys, as u can see it's my first post here.
I have quite a issue. I've replaced the original 40gb hdd with a 120gb for backups.
the issue is now that the system states that there are only about 4gb left... that cant be right. i checked GAMES and game folder... all in all there are about 70 gigs in there. i dont have any videos etc. on my internal hdd.
so my question would be are there some large files... i could delete. is there a way to determine what is taking so much space. as i said games have together 70gb and the remaining folders have maybe 1-2gb. i guess there may be are some games or other stuff which was not deleted correctly.
Did you check for XMB game installs?
i did there are quite a few but all in all there are only 16GB of them.

On a 120gig drive, you will have around 96gig for your own use.
Censorship is bad.
yeah...so there are still 18gigs missing (74gb+4g showed freespace).. i really dont get it

Don't forget game saves, homebrew installed, DLC, Updates for games and various other things that may be taking up more roon than you realize.
1000 gigabytes = 1000/1024 = 976.5 gigabytes
120 gigabytes = 120/1024 = 117.1 gigabytes
humans use factors of 10 and computers use binary
10^3 vs 2^10
well the conclusion is to buy a new HDD
or is there a way to play games with split file straight from external?
