Installing new hard drive?

When i upgrade my hard drive, and I do a back up does it require me to upgrade out of my 3.55 jailbreak when i first use the new hard drive? Or is it just to transfer over all my data from old hard drive to new hard drive?

Do your backup without JB to an external drive.

Install OFW 3.55 then CFW 3.55 then restore your backup

Do you mean to
1) back up without jailbreak
2) restore
3) install OFW and CFW?

My bad thought u were on 3.41

Just make backup of your drive to an external drive via the XMB,

replace internal drive, install OFW 3.55 from dongle then CFW over the top.

Restore backup you made from external hard drive.

Simples!
