As for it being real, I don't know. That page is very convincing. But why would you want this? It's not like you're going to easily move it from system to system.

if you can read, you will found this

INFECTUS will allow to manage like a "flash programmer" the internal flash of PS3. The idea is to give a powerfull tool that allow to READ and WRITE by USB the internal BIOS of PS3.

You see this I can read that but I mean what's the interesting in upgrading or downgrading frimwares...for PS3 if there is no way play backups burned in disk...

A pound to a bucket of this shit, this is fake.

If all it is supposed to do is downgrade fw revisions then that isn't currently needed for the wii, and it's impossible with the 360 if you're speaking in terms of the BIOS/Dash and if you're talking about the drive fw on that console, it's completely unrequired.

I think its for future cracking the PS3 along the lines of the PSP...
PS2 only supports booting apps from an original disc.

Whereas PSP & PS3 support booting apps from other sources also if the digital signature is intact. aka. game demos.

So once someone cracks the firmware to boot unsigned apps from other media. aka. game disc dumps stored on usb or hdd, the chip can be used to downgrade ur firmware to the cracked version.

Just like the Undiluted Platium chip for the PSP is used for.
