Has anyone ever heard of such a thing?

I have the directors cut of saw 5 on bluray, and it won't work in either of my fat ps3's. After i put it in, it sounds like it reads a little bit, then you just hear the drive spinning up and slowing down rapidly, and when I hit eject it keeps doing that for about 10 seconds then the disc pops out. Everything is from the same region, and my newer ps3 has never been downgraded, used CFW, or even used with a jb dongle. I downgraded the older ps3 but I had a full backup of the flash to restore, and it plays other blurays just fine.

Normally I would suspect the disc is bad, except that it works perfectly fine in my friends slim ps3, and in my asus bd drive. There are no visible marks or imprefections on the disc either.
