are you running any type of dongle?

one tip I suggest doing is unpluging the HDMI cable if you are using one and trying to boot it without it

another tip, is try putting it into restore mode and see if anything happens (google it)

sorry to hear your having issues, that sucks!!!

Your ps3 has software problems, if you downgrade Possible bad flash, using flasher tool (progskeet, tennsy) and dump your ps3 again and rapper Flash, check your flash with program HXD.

    Hi (Hola) omyeltio

Yes. To answer your question. The PS3 can behave like that when it have PSU problems. I live in San Juan if you need help with the PS3. It can be many reason so a PS3 can make that kind of problems. In the model you specify the hot air go out thru the PSU in that model that use a revised version of the original slim power supply. BTW when was the last time you clean the PS3 and verify the thermal paste of the system. I hope the problem lies in a clean up more than a replacement for you.

Good Luck and let me know if you need help.

This happened to me. I bought a new PSU and it didn't fix the problem. Turns out that it was bricked and I followed a UnBricking guide to fix my ps3. But in your situation I don't think you have e3 flasher installed, meaning you never backed up the bios.

I have same problem. Turn off for 2 sec, new slim ps3 with 320 gb hdd. I get psu from workable slim ps3 -250 gb , put to defectable 320gb and again turn off 2 sec. Problem not from PSU. I solder progskeet and read nor 16 mb. IFI is OK betloader and botloader is ok. Nor successfuly encrypted with flowrebuilder i see aways files 12,4Mb. Maybe not PSU, not NOR FLASH, i dont know where is problem. Maybe GPU need reflow same as FAT YLOD?
