How to update to OFW 3.50 safely?

Hi everyone, i post this to see if anyone can offer me some insight on this.

I want to update to 3.50 (currently using jailbreak on 3.41) and i want to know what can i do to avoid getting banned by Sony (If there is that risk).

Should i edit my registry? Would trophies i earned sync without problems and/or could they be used to ban me? (I didn't use any program to unlock trophies)

Format the hard drive with a PC then put it back in the PS3 to be reset.

There's nothing more that can be done. If it's enough to avoid a ban, or if sony will even bother to ban anyone when JB can't get even online anyway, nobody knows yet.

I'd like to avoid that if there's another method. I wonder because there are people that cheat online in PSN (with a psp) and as far as i can remember nobody has been banned right?

Because he wants to be able to play online? Earn trophies? Go into PSN Store? Chat with his friends? Play new games like MOH? Watch 3D Blu-rays?

sorry to say this but i have move and i can confirm it work on 3.41 so no idea what u mean by that but u can use move on jailbroken ps3

Just so i have the correct understanding?. If i i update my jbps3 i will not lose my jb? Sorry if this is a stupid question.
