    My Firmware is 3.4.1
How do I ensure that it it doesn't update?
Can I totally turn it off.
I'd hate for the kids to update by mistake and ruin my ps3break.

Take it completely offline or put a random IP address in the proxy server field of your network settings so it'll never reach the internet but you can still use the FTP server.
