HDD Issue –
Hey all, I have a bit of an issue with a hard drive. I have all my PS3 games on a hard drive on my PC, and one day I decided to FTP Demon Souls to the PS3. Everything was going great, until, I think my computer froze and screwed up the FTP. At first I thought nothing was wrong, but my PS3 was stuck in the Blackbox FTP screen, and nothing would work with the controller. So I decided to turn off the PS3, by holding the power button and waiting for two beeps to occur. I only hear one beep, and the 2nd never came. I then attempted to turn the PS3 on, but it wouldn't. The HDD light was in a constant orange glow. I never tried going into service mode ( I didn't know about it back then ), so I took the hard drive and put it in my computer, but everytime I tried to boot, the computer would hang at POST. I realized it was the HDD that was causing the hang-up. So I took it out, and booted my computer, then I tried to plug it back in, and using Device Manager, load up for any hardware changes. As soon as it detects the hard drive, the entire computer freezes and requires a manual shut down. I've attempted getting back into service mode, but since I have another hard drive in the PS3 currently, it brings up an error saying something along the lines of " Can't find the correct hard drive ", or so. I just want to know if there is anyway I can save the 320g HDD, before I 100% get rid of it. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
