Hard Drive Data Recovery??

my ps3 died was told it needs a reball?? done by a professional
does anyone do that here??

also is there a program out like there was for he PS2 to read the hard drive on
a pc to recover the data??

I'd like to be able to recover the data from the old hard drive and put on a new system.

I just got in a new slim system and just put Kmeaw on it, I tried hooking the old hd to it
and multiman wouldn't see it.

any ideas lmk just curious if they developed anything like they did for the ps2

and out of curiousity can you play ps2 iso's on a ps3 slim?? i'd like to transfer the games off the
ps2 and play them on the ps3 if possible.

afaik, all the data on hdd is encrypted. pray that reballing fixes it.

Even if we got a user friendly tools, still he needs repair his PS3 for getting keys.
