edit: Title should say "standby", not "standy"
I bought a new (used) PS3 to go online with, so I pulled my Ethernet cable from my JB'd PS3 and moved it to the new one (better for online gaming, etc).
Since I do occasionally use the old one as a media center, I enabled the WiFi. I changed my DNS, so it can't actually reach the Internet, but can reach my LAN just fine.
Since making this change, I have noticed the green LED on my JB'd PS3 blinks a lot while the system is "off" (standby?). Is this common when using WiFi? It never did this when wired.
It made me nervous that Sony may be looking for modded PS3's, so I shut it off with the hardswitch to be safe. Maybe I'm just being paranoid, so I figured I'd ask.
